Cactus Bar Pendant with Granulation

Thursday June 4

8:30am to 3:30pm

B200091

This pendant is so much fun to make.  We make a reusable mold from a piece of cactus skeleton and form our pendant.  You will add granulation the
stress free metal clay way for added interest.

You will create your own loops to attach the chain to.

I wear mine all the time.  It draws people in with so many questions.

So much fun!

DONT FORGET YOUR LONG BENT NOSE, NEEDLE NOSE AND CHAIN NOSE PLIERS.
YOU WILL NEED THEM!
  MAGNIFIERS AND TASK LAMP TOO!!!

Cactus Bar Pendant with Stone

Friday June 5

8am to 4pm

B200089

I love this one so much.  A little different than the granulation one.  You can use a more delicate skeleton for your mold or go with the major texture
like the one with granulation.

You will still create your own loops to hang your chain from.

I'm trying to find some more Montana sapphires like the one in the photo, but if I can't, I still have Rhodolite and Hessonite garnets, Spinels and
cubic ziconia cabs and faceted stones for you to choose from. You could also go with a pearl if you like. I will have white, pink and peacock half drills
in case those spark your fancy.

This one is my favorite.  I wear it all the time.  No it's not for sale.  Just can't part with it.

DONT FORGET YOUR LONG BENT NOSE, NEEDLE NOSE AND CHAIN NOSE PLIERS.
YOU WILL NEED THEM!  MAGNIFIERS AND TASK LAMP TOO!

Dots and more Dots

Friday June 5

Everyone is wearing these trendy little sparklers.  Why not make your own?  You will be creating the stone's
bezel which is also the setting. Sweet.

I have several colors for you to choose from and white if your eyes love the diamond sparkle.

An interesting approach to metal clay.

A fabulous silver chain comes with your kit   You will permanently insert it so it won't get lost.

DONT FORGET YOUR MAGNIFIERS AND TASK LAMP!  YOU WILL THANK ME.

Let's Pavé

Saturday June 6

8am to 4pm

B200095

You can create a multi sparkly piece and set all the stones the same height and direction according to your design.

I have a couple tricks up my sleeve.  You can set them randomly like the image on the left or set them deliberately like the second image below.

The beauty of doing this in PMC is that you won't disturb your design in the slightest unlike traditional pavé where you must drag metal to set the stone.

Great break into PMC if you dare.  Yup we will be feeding tiny stones to the studio gremlins.  It is what it is.  I give you plenty to lose.

Definitely a test of your patience and perserverence.  Hope you still love me when it's over.  What am I saying; of course you will when you polish

up this little sparkler.

I have a fabulous diamond cut bead chain to add to your piece so the sparkle will go all the way around your neck!

BE SURE TO HAVE A REALLY FINE TWEEZERS FOR THIS ONE AND MAGNIFIERS AND TASK LAMP.  YOU WILL NEED THEM!!!

Sand Dollar Sand Dollar

Saturday June 6

6 to 9pm

B200093

This is one of my most popular classes right now.

Perfect if you have never tried PMC.  You make a reusable mold from a (gulp) real sand dollar.  Those fragile little guys make a fabulous silver pendant.

You will add a hidden bail and  when you put the final patina on you will be amazed at the detail you will pick up.

You will add a beachy rubber cord to go with it.  Black or several colors to choose from.

So fun and organic.
